Dr. Jan Winzen

Dr. Jan Winzen has extensive work experience in the legal field. Dr. Jan currently serves as the Director Legal M&A / Transformation at Fresenius Group since March 2023. Prior to this role, they worked at Fresenius SE & Co KGaA as Corporate Legal from October 2020 to March 2023. Before joining Fresenius, they worked as a Rechtsanwalt at Watson Farley & Williams from January 2015 to September 2020. Additionally, they gained experience at Hogan Lovells as a Rechtsanwalt from February to December 2014, and as a Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter/Referendar from February 2011 to January 2014. Dr. Jan also worked as a Referendar at Deutsche Bank from January to March 2013, and as a Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter at Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP from May 2010 to January 2011.

Dr. Jan Winzen completed their education history as follows: From 2004 to 2010, they attended The University of Bonn and obtained their Erstes Staatsexamen. Subsequently, they pursued further studies at the University of Cologne from 2010 to 2013 and earned their Dr. jur. degree in Aktien- und Kapitalmarkrecht. Lastly, from 2012 to 2014, they attended Oberlandesgericht Frankfurt am Main and obtained their Zweites Staatsexamen.
