Alexander Higuera

Alexander Higuera has extensive work experience in the procurement and engineering fields. Alexander started their career at The Kraft Heinz Company as a Senior Buyer, where they managed packaging material expenses and led process improvements with suppliers. Alexander then joined FCA Fiat Chrysler Automobiles as a Supplier Quality Engineer, responsible for program management and ensuring quality in local automotive components. Higuera later worked at LSG Sky Chefs as a Strategic Planning Specialist, where they administered forecasting and demand planning activities. Alexander then joined Del Monte Fresh Produce N.A., Inc as a Packaging Buyer and later became a Purchasing Manager, overseeing the procurement of CAPEX and spare parts. Alexander'smost recent role is with Fresh Del Monte, where they started as a Purchasing Director and currently serves as the Director of Engineering. In this position, they lead the procurement organization and develops purchasing strategies to minimize costs and improve operational efficiency.

Alexander Higuera completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Simón Bolívar from 1994 to 1999. Alexander then pursued a Specialization's degree in Finance, General from Universidad Tecnológica del Centro (UNITEC) from 2001 to 2003. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained certifications in various fields such as Introduction to Disciplined Agile, Project Management Foundations: Integration, and Six Sigma: Green Belt, from LinkedIn in 2023.
