Gail Gottehrer

Gail Gottehrer has a diverse work experience in the legal and technology sectors. Gail currently serves as the Vice President of Global Litigation, Labor & Employment Law, and Government Relations at Fresh Del Monte. Gail is also a Member of the AI4People Scientific Committee and the ITU Focus Group on AI for Autonomous and Assisted Driving.

In addition, Gail has been a Board Member at the University of Pennsylvania Law School and a Member of the State of Connecticut Task Force to Study Fully Autonomous Vehicles. Gail is a Founding Co-Chair of the IP and Technology Practice Area Affinity Group at the National Association of Women Lawyers. Gail has also held roles as Vice President of the Board of Directors at the Greater Hartford Legal Aid Foundation and a Fellow at the Vermont Law School's Center for Legal Innovation.

From 2019 to 2022, Gail worked at their own law firm, the Law Office of Gail Gottehrer LLC, where they served as General Counsel & Digital Innovation Specialist. In this role, they provided guidance on privacy, data security, and AI legal matters and led teams in developing and implementing cybersecurity best practices.

Gail's expertise has extended beyond their work experience, as they have co-authored ethical guidelines for the automotive sector and served as a Member of the International Jury of Experts at Innovation Park AI Baden-Württemberg.

Gail Gottehrer has a JD degree in Law from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School. In addition to their educational achievements, they have obtained several certifications, including the Business Implications of Extended Reality (XR) from MIT Sloan School of Management and the Women in Governance Program from UCLA Anderson School of Management. Gail is also a Certified Litigation Management Professional, completed the Master Class in Digital Leadership from MIT Sloan School of Management, and received training from The Sedona Conference in eDiscovery Cooperation. Gail Gottehrer has been licensed as an attorney in the New Jersey Courts, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the New York State Unified Court System, and the State of Connecticut.
