Glaucia Peres

Glaucia Peres is the current Director of Engineering at FreshBooks. Glaucia has over a decade of experience in various leadership roles in the software engineering field. Prior to their current position, Glaucia was the Web Platform Engineering Manager at Globo.com, where they oversaw the development of the company's web platform solutions. Glaucia also held positions as a Project Leader at M4U, an Agile Consultant at SWQuality, and a Test Researcher at Motorola. In addition to their leadership experience, Glaucia has also worked as a developer intern at Icorp and Uqbar. Glaucia is a highly skilled and experienced software engineer with a proven track record of success in leading and managing teams of engineers.

Glaucia Peres has a postgraduate degree in Business Management Specialization from Fundação Dom Cabral, a Master of Science (MSc) in Computer Software Engineering from Universidade Federal de Pernambuco, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Universidade Federal de Pernambuco. Glaucia also has certification from ICAgile in ICAgile Certified Professional - Agile Coaching, Scrum Alliance in CSM - Certified Scrum Master, Scrum Alliance in CSPO - Certified Scrum Product Owner, and Crescimentum in Líder do Futuro - Executive.
