Oleksandr Borodavka

Oleksandr Borodavka is an experienced data engineer with a strong background in MLOps and software engineering. Currently serving as a Staff Data Engineer at FreshBooks since January 2021, Oleksandr leads the architecture design for Machine Learning systems and collaborates across engineering teams. Previous roles include Senior Software Engineer positions at FreshBooks, Codeminders, and Lifeisgoodlabs, where Oleksandr designed and implemented scalable microservices architectures and practiced modern software development methodologies. Additionally, Oleksandr co-founded Otherworlds and contributed to developing a browser-based MMORPG. Oleksandr holds a Specialist's degree in Automated Systems Software and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Bohdan Khmelnytsky National University of Cherkasy.
