Patrícia Sousa

Patrícia Sousa is a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer at FreshBooks since January 2021, previously serving as a Software Engineer at KPN from December 2017 to January 2021, where development of Backend APIs in a microservices architecture was a key responsibility. Prior to that, Patrícia worked as a Software Developer at Goldmund, Wyldebeast & Wunderliebe from August 2014 to December 2017, focusing on project-based web development and overseeing the project lifecycle. Early in the career, Patrícia was a System Tester Engineer at Coriant GmbH & Co. KG from April 2013 to July 2014, concentrating on test planning and execution. The initial experience includes a summer position as a Sales Assistant at Mercado da Ribeira Bookshop in Lisbon. Patrícia holds a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering with a specialization in Telecommunications from Instituto Superior Técnico and participated in the Erasmus program at Chalmers University of Technology in 2011.
