Kat Rodriguez

Kat Rodriguez, SPHR, has over two decades of progressive experience in human resources, currently serving as the Head of People at FreshDirect since April 2003. In this role, Kat aligns HR initiatives with business strategies, overseeing a diverse team that supports over 3,000 employees. Previous positions at FreshDirect include Senior Director of People, Director of People Support, and Manager of Human Resources, where Kat focused on optimizing HR operations, ensuring compliance, and refining compensation structures. Prior experience includes roles at Balter Sales Company and the Orange County Clerk of Courts, as well as an early position as a School Aide within the NYC Board of Education. Kat holds an education from LaGuardia Community College.
