Teeshan Ramtohul

Teeshan Ramtohul has a diverse work experience in various roles within the hospitality industry. TEESHAN currently works as a Key Account Manager at Fresh Express LLC, where they manage accounts in the On Trade sector in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain.

Prior to their current role, Teeshan worked at Gray Mackenzie and Partners as a Key Account Manager from July 2019 to December 2022. Before that, they served as a Sales Executive at the same company from July 2017 to June 2019.

Teeshan also has experience as a Bar Manager at Catch Restaurant - Royal Catering LLC from November 2016 to June 2017 and as a Head Sommelier at Asia de Cuba Restaurant from March 2015 to October 2016. TEESHAN worked as an Operation Group Head Sommelier at Miramar Group from July 2014 to February 2015, and as an Operation Resort Sommelier at Huvafen Fushi Maldives from January 2014 to July 2014.

Earlier in their career, Teeshan held the position of Senior Sommelier at Burj Al Arab Hotel from December 2011 to January 2014. TEESHAN started their career as a Junior Sommelier at Hakkasan Group from July 2010 to October 2011, and prior to that, they worked as a Bartender at Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts from February 2008 to June 2010.

Teeshan Ramtohul's education history includes various certifications and diplomas in hotel/restaurant management and wine/spirits studies. In 2000 to 2005, Teeshan attended S. Munrakhun College by the University of Cambridge, where they obtained a high school degree with a focus on subjects such as English, French, Mathematics, Arts, and Hinduism. In 2010, Teeshan completed a Certified Intermediate WSET Level 2 program at the Wine & Spirits Centre London. In 2011, they pursued further certification as a Certified Professional in Spirits WSET Level 2 from the International Wine & Spirits Centre London. In 2012, Teeshan received a Certified Advanced WSET Level 3 from the Wine & Spirits Centre London. Additionally, in 2012, they enrolled in Penn Foster University, where they obtained a Hotel/Restaurant Management Diploma.
