Stefan Fijko

Stefan Fijko has extensive work experience in finance and management roles. Stefan is currently the Global Head of Finance Operations at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer. Prior to that, they worked as an Interim Finance Director at UPB Slovakia, where they helped establish a new distribution company for Gruppo Campari products. Before that, they held various positions at Red Bull, including Head of finance & Company statutory executive and Finance manager & Company statutory executive. Stefan also worked as a Finance Manager at Pizza Hut and started their career as a Junior accounting clerk / Financial analyst at TV Markiza, where they played a role in building the infrastructure for the first private TV broadcastings.

Stefan Fijko holds a postgraduate diploma in Strategy and Innovation from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, which they obtained from 2019 to 2020. Stefan also has a Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification from the Project Management Institute, which they obtained in 2016-2017. Previously, they earned a Master's degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from the Faculty of Management, Comenius University in Bratislava in 1995-1997, and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the Technical University of Košice in 1992-1995. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications in areas such as writing, agile project management, strategic planning, behavioral economy, stress management, conflict management, and self-empowerment.
