Charlie Osmond

Co-Founder at Freshminds

After a year in the army, Charlie studied Engineering at Oxford. He always knew he wanted to start his own business so threw himself into internships at university to learn the functional skills he needed - gaining finance training at accountancy Arthur Anderson, technology experience at Unilever's IT group, and marketing experience in P&G’s digital marketing team (back when it consisted of just two people).

After graduating, Charlie set up Freshminds in 2000 with classmate Caroline Plumb and as CEO grew it to the business it is today. He now works with Freshminds in an advisory and support capacity, whilst running his latest business Triptease as 'Chief Tease'.

He is a member of the International Business Advisory Board British Airways and is kept busy by his two small children (meaning his days as a keen sailor and triathlete have had to take somewhat of a back seat!)
