Marcin Barczak CFS, CCS has extensive experience in the food industry, with a focus on product development and innovation. Marcin is currently serving as the Vice President of Product and Process Innovations at Freshstone Brands Inc., leading the company's efforts in creating new products and improving manufacturing processes. Before that, they held the position of Vice President of Product Development and Culinary Innovation at the same company. Prior to joining Freshstone Brands Inc., Marcin worked as a Product Development Manager at both Kitchen Partners Limited and Nossack Gourmet Foods. Marcin also held the role of Research and Development Manager at Sepp's Fine Foods and worked as an Application Technologist at Palsgaard Poland. Marcin's work experience spans over two decades and showcases their strong expertise in product development and management in the food industry.
Marcin Barczak CFS, CCS has a strong education history in the field of food science and technology. Marcin obtained an Engineer's Degree in Food Science and Technology from Wroclaw University of Environmental and Life Sciences in 2001. Following that, they pursued a Master's Degree in Food Science and Technology from the same university, completing it in 2002.
In 2004, Marcin enrolled in Kozminski University to further their studies and earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Engineering/Industrial Management in 2006.
In addition to their education, Marcin has also obtained two certifications. In November 2015, they became a Certified Food Scientist (CFS) through the Institute of Food Technologists (IFT). Marcin further enhanced their credentials by obtaining the Certified Culinary Scientist (CCS) certification from the Research Chefs Association in March 2018.
