Craig Mohan

Craig Mohan is the Co-Chair and Advisory Board Member at Freshwater Advisors. Craig has over 20 years of experience in technology and data-related roles in the financial industry.

Mr. Mohan started their career in 1999 as the Chief Technology Officer and Co-founder of BlueMeteor, Inc. Craig then became the Chief Technology Officer at ShopperTrak from March 2005 to August 2007. From there, they took on the role of Director - Global Infrastructure at Citadel Investment Group from August 2007 to May 2010. In May 2010, they joined CME Group as Managing Director, Market Technology and Data Services and held this position until April 2019. Most recently, they were the Chief Growth Officer at Trading Technologies from November 2019 to December 2020.

At Trading Technologies, Mr. Mohan led new product development and growth initiatives with a focus on data and infrastructure. Craig also managed day-to-day operations of business intelligence and market data licensing. Craig envisioned and led development of market data products from concept and customer validation through pilot, enhancing the value of Trading Technologies beyond trading software. Additionally, they capitalized on migration to internet-based SaaS and unified trading platform to create and monetize valuable market data. Furthermore, they accelerated remediation of market data audits, negotiating resolution to one-quarter of original findings.

Craig Mohan has a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
