Community Representative at FRESNO COUNTY ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITIES COMMISSION

Michael Reyna has a diverse work experience with various roles in different companies. In 2018, they worked at Fresno Economic Opportunities Commission (Fresno EOC) as a Community Representative, where they provided services and support to LGBTQ+ individuals and assisted in combating human trafficking. Michael also served as a Commissioner at Fresno Economic Opportunities Commission from 2018 to 2020.

From 2014 to 2020, Michael held the position of Vice-President and Sponsorships Coordinator on the Board of Directors at Fresno Reel Pride, a prominent film festival that showcases LGBTQI+ films in the Central Valley.

In 2014, they worked as the Bar Manager at Score Sports Cafe & Lounge, where they managed the company's online presence and inventory.

Prior to that, Michael was a Bartender at Pinot Wine Bar & Bistro in 2013 and served as the Bar Manager at Club Legends, one of the largest nightclubs in Central California, from 2010 to 2013. In this role, they organized promotional events and negotiated contracts with liquor companies to maximize profit.

Before transitioning into the hospitality industry, Michael worked as a Retail Communications Consultant at Sprint - Nextel in 2006 and as a Retail Salesperson at Parrot Cellular / AT&T - Cingular Wireless in 2005.

Michael also has experience in advertising, having worked as an Advertising Account Executive at Pulitzer Newspapers from 2000 to 2004. In addition, Michael interned for Congressman George Radanovich (R) as part of a Congressional campaign in 2000.

Overall, Michael Reyna has gained extensive experience in various industries, including community services, event management, hospitality, and sales.

Michael Reyna completed their high school education at Selma High School from 1996 to 2000, earning a HS Diploma in General Studies. Their further education includes attending Fresno City College for an unspecified period, where they pursued studies in the field of Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services. Additionally, Michael has obtained certifications such as RBT certification from the California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control in August 2010 and a ServSafe California Food Handler certification from ServSafe Certified in May 2015.
