Natasha Baker

Natasha Baker, Ed.D. has held various leadership roles in the education sector. Natasha served as the Chief Academic Officer at Fresno Unified School District since May 2022. Prior to that, they were the Superintendent at Banning Unified School District from July 2020 to April 2022, also holding the role of Acting Superintendent for a brief period. Natasha was the Deputy Superintendent at Hazelwood School District from September 2017 to April 2020. In addition, they worked as the State School Reform Officer for the State of Michigan from October 2013 to September 2017, and as a School Improvement Consultant within the same period. Before that, they were the Chief Schools Officer/Chief Innovation Officer at Detroit Public Schools - Detroit Rising College Prep Schools in 2012-2013.

Natasha Baker, Ed.D. obtained their Bachelor of Arts in English Education from California State University, Long Beach. Natasha then went on to complete their Master of Arts in English at Howard University. Later, they pursued a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Educational Leadership and Administration, General at the University of Michigan-Dearborn. Most recently, they earned a Master of Science in Finance from The Johns Hopkins University - Carey Business School.
