Jens Bongards

Jens Bongards has extensive work experience in the retail industry, specifically in the pet food sector. Jens has held various leadership positions within Fressnapf, starting in 2010 as Abteilungsleiter Country Development Management in Fressnapf Beteiligungs GmbH. From there, they moved on to become Leiter Vertriebsinnendienst at Fressnapf Tiernahrungs GmbH in 2012. During their time there, they successfully managed and led the sales support team. In 2021, Jens Bongards was promoted to Vice President Franchise Management Germany at Fressnapf Tiernahrungs GmbH, where they currently oversee the franchise operations in the country. Prior to their positions at Fressnapf, they worked as a Senior Projektmanager Internationale Expansion at Praktiker AG from 2009 to 2010.

Jens Bongards attended the University of Münster from 1991 to 1997, where they obtained a Diplom-Volkswirt degree in Volkswirtschaftslehre.
