Arun Nayak has a range of experience in engineering roles. Arun started their career as an intern at GE Global Research in 2008. Arun then worked as a Process Engineer at TE Connectivity from 2009 to 2010, where they focused on high voltage distribution line components and implemented lean manufacturing techniques. Arun continued their career as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Massachusetts Lowell from 2010 to 2012, where they conducted research on developing novel inks for silver and graphene-based materials and taught undergraduate courses. Arun then served as an Associate Process Engineer at CONMED Corporation from 2013 to 2014, where they supported validation activities for plastic processing equipment. Arun worked as an Operations Engineer on a contract basis for Verotech Solutions, LLC from 2015 to 2016, managing international projects to set up service and repair centers for Integra Life Sciences. Arun then became a Manufacturing Engineer at TE Connectivity from 2016 to 2017. Arun furthered their experience as an Extrusion Process Engineer at Polyzen, Inc. from 2017 to 2018. Currently, they hold the position of Manufacturing Engineer at Freudenberg Medical, starting from 2018.
Arun Nayak obtained their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Polymer Science and Technology from Shri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering. Arun then pursued a Master's degree in Polymer/Plastics Engineering at the University of Massachusetts Lowell from 2010 to 2013.
