Florian Speck

Florian Speck is a skilled professional with extensive experience in the field of electrocatalysis and renewable energy applications. Currently serving as Project Manager for Hydrogen Applications at Freudenberg Sealing Technologies since May 2023, Florian previously held the position of Advance Development Engineer at Schaeffler from May 2021 to April 2023. Prior academic and research experience includes roles as Postdoctoral Research Scientist and PhD Student at Forschungszentrum Jülich, focusing on the stability of platinum group metal-free electrocatalysts for hydrogen storage and fuel cells. Florian also completed a Master Thesis Project at The University of British Columbia and gained initial experience as a Project Assistant at BASF. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Physical Chemistry and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Biochemistry, both from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München.
