Lina Freage-Kahn

Lina Freage-Kahn is a seasoned scientist with extensive experience in biochemistry and nanotechnology. Currently, Lina serves as Co-Founder and Chief Scientific Officer at FREZENT Biological Solutions and as Lead Scientist at Aveta.Life, both roles commencing in 2021 and 2022, respectively. Prior to these positions, Lina was an Adjunct Assistant Professor at The City University of New York, where responsibilities included teaching general and organic chemistry laboratory courses. As a Postdoctoral Researcher, Lina developed a novel immunotherapy assay, resulting in significant publications and advancements in DNA aptamer-based systems for cancer detection. Lina's previous roles include Lead Scientist at Grit Bio, Inc. and Grant Research at NYU Langone Health, as well as a PhD student at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, where innovative methodologies were created for DNA-based biosensors. Lina holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemistry, a Master of Science in Nanotechnology, and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, all from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
