Ben Tennant

Ben Tennant, CPA has a strong background in finance and accounting with experience in various roles and industries. Ben is currently serving as the VP/Controller at Frida since January 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Controller at Tethis, Inc. and Next Century Spirits from July 2018 to December 2021.

Before joining these companies, Ben held positions at Burt's Bees where they served as a Senior Headquarters Accountant from November 2017 to July 2018 and as a Senior Financial Analyst from December 2014 to November 2017. Ben also worked as a Controller at Measurement Incorporated from September 2013 to December 2014.

Earlier in their career, Ben worked at Burt's Bees as a Senior Financial Analyst from May 2011 to September 2013. Ben also gained valuable experience at IBM where they served as a WW Fixed Asset Accountant from January 2010 to May 2011 and as a Cost/Inventory Control Accountant from January 2008 to January 2010.

Ben's career started at BB&T where they worked as a Wealth Management Operations Analyst from 2005 to 2007. Overall, Ben Tennant has a diverse and extensive work experience in finance and accounting roles.

Ben Tennant, CPA attended Northwest High School from 1997 to 2001, where they obtained their High School/Secondary Diplomas and Certificates. Ben then enrolled at North Carolina State University - College of Management from 2001 to 2005, earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with a focus on Finance and Accounting.

After working for several years, Ben pursued further education at NC State University Graduate School from 2016 to 2019, obtaining a Jenkins MBA degree.

In addition to their educational background, Ben Tennant, CPA obtained the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the North Carolina Association of CPAs (NCACPA) in June 2010.
