Valerie Baar-Baarenfels

Valerie Baar-Baarenfels has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Valerie currently holds the position of Head of Talent I FinTech SaaS at Friday Finance, where they focus on talent strategy, acquisition, employee wellbeing, remote culture, employee engagement, and employer branding. Prior to this, Valerie worked as a Psychotherapist Trainee at Sigmund Freud Universitätsambulanz and had a role as a Recruiting Partner at epunkt. Valerie also served as the Manager of Candidate Relations at Hays, where they worked from 2018 to 2021. Valerie previously worked as an Assistant at Baar-Baarenfels Rechtsanwältin und Wirtschaftsmediatorin and completed psychotherapeutic internships and programs at Universitätsklinikum AKH Wien, Sigmund Freud Universitätsambulanz, and Österreichische Gesellschaft für Kinder- und Jugendlichenpsychotherapie. Valerie started their career as an Internship Trainee at RSM Austria in 2012.

Valerie Baar-Baarenfels completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Betriebswirtschaftslehre (Business Administration) from WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business) between 2015 and 2018. In addition, they pursued further studies at Sigmund Freud PrivatUniversität Wien, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Psychotherapiewissenschaften (Psychotherapy Sciences) from 2013 to 2016. Valerie extended their education at the same institution and pursued a Master's degree in Psychotherapiewissenschaften, which they will complete in 2022.
