Sucheta Ghosh is a Doctoral Student at the Friedrich Miescher Institute for Biomedical Research since October 2020, working in the lab of Professor Patrick Mathhias with over three years of expertise in cellular stress response pathways, including aggresome processing and stress granules related to virus infection. Previously, Sucheta was a Khorana Program Scholar at Johns Hopkins Medicine in 2018, supported by a fellowship from the Department of Biotechnology in India and the Indo-US Science and Technology Forum, and also gained research experience as a Summer Research Intern at the Indian Institute of Science in 2016 and as an IAS Summer Research Fellow at AIIMS in 2015. Sucheta holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Molecular Biology from the University of Basel, a Master of Technology in Biotechnology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Mandi, and a Bachelor of Technology in Biotechnology, alongside earlier education from Loyola School Jamshedpur and Sacred Heart Convent School, Jamshedpur.
