Niklas Snis

Niklas Snis has a diverse work experience, with their most recent role being the Head of Operation at Studsvik since September 2018. Prior to that, they served as the Head of Unit Fuel Testing from January 2014 to September 2018 and as a Project Manager from September 2012 to December 2013 at the same company. Before joining Studsvik, they worked at Piezomotor Uppsala AB as a Senior Research Engineer from August 2008 to September 2012, where they developed and managed piezoelectric walking motors. Niklas also has experience as a Ph D student at Uppsala University, where they developed microelectromechanical actuators in piezoelectric ceramics and polymers from January 2003 to May 2008. Additionally, they served as a board member representing Ph D students at the Engineering Sciences Institutional Board at Uppsala University from August 2003 to June 2006.

Niklas Snis pursued their MSc degree in Engineering Science from Uppsala University between 1998 and 2002. Niklas then went on to further their education by obtaining a Ph.D. in Microsystems Technology from the same institution, completing their doctoral studies between 2003 and 2008.
