Suzanne Corson, MBA

Suzanne Corson, MBA, has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Suzanne started their career as the Help Desk Coordinator, Purchasing Agent, and Software Librarian at Berkeley Systems from 1995 to 1999. Suzanne then ventured into entrepreneurship and owned Boadecia's Books, a bookstore, from 1992 to 2004. In 2002, they served as the Editor for EastBayVoice.org, an online resource guide and publication for the LGBT community in the East Bay area. From 2005 to 2006, Suzanne was the Executive Editor at HAF Publishing, where they worked on magazines like Girlfriends and On Our Backs, as well as fair guides for San Francisco Pride, the Castro Street Fair, and the Folsom Street Fair. Continuing their editorial career, Suzanne became the Executive Editor at Books To Watch Out For, a subscription-based book review publication, from 2006 to 2007. Suzanne also worked as a Freelance Copy Editor for the Young Presidents Organization in 2006. Suzanne's experience as a writer includes roles as a Freelance Writer for AfterEllen.com from 2006 to 2008 and Bay Area BusinessWoman News from 2007 to 2009, where they wrote profiles, reviews, interviews, and overviews on various topics. Furthermore, they worked as a Freelance Editor and Proofreader for Cleis Press in 2007, responsible for copy editing manuscript pages and proofreading galleys. Lastly, Suzanne held positions at FriendFinder Networks, Inc., including Email Marketing Manager from 2011 until present, and Newsletter Project Manager/Managing Editor from 2007 until present.

Suzanne Corson, MBA, completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Women's Studies/Ethnic Studies at Mills College from 1993 to 1995. Suzanne then pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from 2010 to 2012 at Saint Mary's College of California, specializing in the Executive MBA program.
