Aleesha Hanczakowski

Aleesha Hanczakowski is a dedicated climate campaigner and community organiser with extensive experience in environmental advocacy and grassroots movements. Currently serving as the Climate Campaign Coordinator for Friends of the Earth since October 2022, Aleesha has previously held significant roles, including State Election Campaign Manager for The Australian Greens and Field Campaigner for The Greens (WA). With a strong background in research and community engagement, Aleesha contributed to projects focusing on gender and climate justice during a tenure as a Research Assistant at Edith Cowan University. Aleesha's commitment to sustainable development is further exemplified through roles with the Australian Student Environment Network and 350.org, among others. Aleesha holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sustainable Development and is completing a Diploma of Languages in Indonesian at Flinders University.
