Nicky Springthorpe

Nicky Springthorpe is an experienced marketing and engagement professional with a robust background in the non-profit sector, currently serving as the Interim Head of Engagement at Friends of the Earth since December 2022. Previously, Nicky held various leadership roles, including Marketing and Engagement Manager at Friends of the Earth, Senior Marketing Communications Manager at Canine Partners, and Supporter Development Manager at RSPCA, where responsibilities encompassed strategic marketing, brand management, and campaign development. Nicky's career includes significant contributions to organizations such as Oxfam GB, WWF-UK, and World Animal Protection, focusing on partnership development, corporate marketing, and communications. Nicky holds a Master's Degree in Sustainable Environmental Development from Kingston University and a Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations & Marketing from Leeds Beckett University.
