Elvia Rodriguez Ochoa is an accomplished arts professional with extensive experience in community engagement and education. Currently serving as the Executive Director of Chicago Community Arts Studio, Ochoa is dedicated to providing accessible arts programs with a focus on trauma-informed practices. As a Consultant for Education and Engagement and formerly the Director of Education and Engagement at Friends of the Parks, Ochoa has fostered collaborative initiatives promoting healthy lifestyles in Chicago. Ochoa's background includes roles as a Teaching Artist, Director of Community Programs at Pros Arts Studio, and co-founder of Polvo Alternative, showcasing a commitment to supporting local artists and diverse creative expressions. Educationally, Ochoa holds an MA in Interdisciplinary Arts from Columbia College Chicago and a BA in Fine Arts from Trinity Christian College.
