Tonya Skinner

Tonya Skinner is an experienced occupational therapist currently serving as Program Administrator and Pediatric Occupational Therapist at Friendship Community Care, Inc. since May 2018, providing essential therapy services for children in a developmental day center. Skinner's prior experience includes various roles in occupational therapy at Mercy, spanning from May 2011 to August 2020, with responsibilities ranging from in-patient rehabilitation to outpatient pediatrics and adult orthopedic and neurologic care. From April 2008 to May 2011, Skinner worked at Mercy - Springfield, delivering OT services for adult hand and orthopedic injuries, and previously from January 1994 to May 2008 at Mercy, focusing on in-patient rehab and serving as a clinical coordinator for OT students. Additional experience includes pediatric occupational therapy at Therapy Associates, LLC from April 1998 to November 2001. Skinner holds a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Central Arkansas and a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design from Arkansas Tech University.
