Catherine Hughes

Catherine Hughes, SPHR, currently serves as the Director of Human Resources at Friendship Manor since December 2021. Previously, Catherine held the position of Director at Petersen Health Care from October 2019 to December 2021, and was the US HR Talent Acquisition & Compliance Director at HGS - Hinduja Global Solutions from July 2018 to March 2019. In this latter role, Catherine led the US Recruitment Team, developed compliant recruitment policies, and facilitated the launch of a new 500-seat location in Florida. From October 2012 to July 2018, Catherine was the Director of Human Resources & Benefits Consulting at Group Services, where the firm transformed its offerings to include strategic HR and compliance solutions. Catherine also served as the Global Director of Human Resources at APAC Customer Services from 1996 to 2012, overseeing HR operations for over 20,000 employees. Early in Catherine's career, the role at Clark Refining and Marketing involved directing HR functions for 44 high-volume C-Stores. Educational achievements include attending Western Illinois University, Black Hawk College, and Kewanee High.
