Casey Halstead

Casey Halstead, CTRS, CDP, is an experienced professional in therapeutic recreation and life enrichment, currently serving as the Assistant Director of Adult Medical Day Care at Friendship Retirement Community since March 2020. Since January 2013, Casey has been part of Therapeutic Recreation Services of the Roanoke Valley as Support Staff, implementing therapeutic groups in areas such as cultural arts and fitness. Previously, Casey held the position of Life Enrichment Director at The Harmony Collection at Roanoke Memory Care from February 2017 to February 2020 and worked as Front Desk Staff at Roanoke County's Brambleton Center from April 2013 to March 2017, providing customer service to the community. Additionally, from May 2013 to February 2017, Casey served as a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist at Catawba Hospital, focusing on planning and implementing recreational therapy groups for patients with behavioral and mental health needs.
