Karthikeyan Prakash

Karthikeyan Prakash has over 6 years of work experience in the tech industry. Karthikeyan began their career in 2015 as a Software Development Engineer at Structural Solutions Private Limited, where they developed custom software for R&D field in various sectors. In 2016, they joined Smartron as a Software Engineer, where they were responsible for architectural design and development of home automation hub platform. In 2017, Karthikeyan joined Techolution as Director of IoT and AI, where they were responsible for developing the ecosystem for IoT and AI product innovation and its adoption. Karthikeyan also served as Chief Product Officer and Product Manager during their time at Techolution. In 2023, Karthikeyan became Co-Founder & CPO of Frigate, where they are leading the tech and product development of a next-generation AI-enabled platform for true cloud manufacturing.

Karthikeyan Prakash has a diverse educational background. Karthikeyan obtained a Diploma of Education from Polytechnic Careers between 2009 and 2012 in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering. Karthikeyan then completed a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) from K.S.Rangasamy College of Technology between 2011 and 2015 in Electronics and Communications Engineering. Most recently, they completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani between 2017 and 2019 in Finance and General. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including a Certified LabVIEW Associate Developer from National Instruments India in 2015, and five Coursera certifications in 2019, including End-to-End Machine Learning with TensorFlow on GCP, Google Cloud Platform Fundamentals: Core Infrastructure, Image Understanding with TensorFlow on GCP, Production Machine Learning Systems, and Recommendation Systems with TensorFlow on GCP.
