Tudor Benga

Co Founder at Frisbo

Tudor Benga has had a varied career, starting in 2005 with Edventure USA as an Educational Consultant, where they founded a small business together with a partner language school. In the same year, they also began working at Okian as a Business Development Manager, where they drafted and implemented business development plans, established trade accounts and negotiated terms of business with over 20 leading publishers and book distributors. In 2011, they began working at Columbia University as a Departmental Research Assistant in Macroeconomics, and also served as a Consultant for Universidad Federal Rural de Rio de Janeiro (UFRRJ). In 2013, they became the CEO and co-founder of Okian.ro, the largest English-language online bookstore and leading book distributor in Romania. In 2014, they co-founded Frisbo and, in 2016, they became a Member of Parliament in the Romanian Parliament.

Tudor Benga received a Master's degree in International Relations and Affairs from Columbia | SIPA between 2010 and 2012. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Balkans Studies from Sarah Lawrence College between 2001 and 2004.
