Esther Ruskin

Science Faculty Member at FRISCH SCHOOL

Mrs. Ruskin teaches 9th grade and AP Biology at Frisch. Mrs. Ruskin graduated from Barnard College with a BA in Biology and a minor in Anthropology. She also holds a Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences and is a PhD candidate in Microbial Ecology at Rutgers University, where her research focuses on the ecology of bacterial communities that break down toxic hydrocarbons in the environment. She was previously a biology teacher at TABC and taught for many years at the college level. Mrs. Ruskin taught General Biology and Anatomy & Physiology labs at Rutgers University and Invertebrate and Vertebrate Zoology as an adjunct professor at Monmouth University.
