Maren Scharf

Dr. Maren Scharf, Frisch Class of 1997, is Director of General Studies and a member of the Science department, teaching biology and chemistry. She also is a learning specialist, formerly serving as the Co-Director of Student Support Services and teaching biology, chemistry, and physics in Frisch’s Learning Center. Dr. Scharf holds a BA from Barnard College in Economics and MA in Learning Disabilities from Columbia Teachers College and an EdD from Azrieli Graduate School in Jewish Education and Administration. She currently serves on the Barnard College Science Advisory Committee.
