Sheri Smith

Sheri Smith has extensive experience in library services and community engagement. Currently serving as a Library Assistant at Frisco Public Library since July 2014, Sheri develops lesson plans and teaches ESL, genealogy, and computer classes while providing customer service and reference assistance. Sheri also holds the position of Assistant Library Director at Gunter Library and Museum and serves as Membership Chair for Friends of Gunter Library and Museum, demonstrating leadership through previous roles such as President and Vice President in the organization. Prior to their library career, Sheri worked at Sam's Club from 2001 to 2015 as a Certified Pharmacy Technician, focusing on patient needs and business growth. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of General Studies in Behavioral Sciences from Southeastern Oklahoma State University and an Associate of Science from Collin College.
