Karen Lucas

Karen Lucas has extensive experience in recruitment and human resources, currently serving as a Program Officer for Recruitment at Fire & Rescue NSW since June 2013. Prior to this role, Karen held the position of Recruitment Officer at NSW ServiceFirst from September 2008 to June 2012 and worked as a Recruitment, HR, and Payroll generalist at the Department of Natural Resources from March 2000 to September 2008. Earlier in Karen's career, from May 1995 to March 2000, a role as a Human Resources Officer was undertaken at the Taronga Conservation Society Australia. Karen holds a Diploma in Urban Horticulture from Ryde TAFE and an Advanced Certificate in Human Resources Management from TAFE NSW.
