Melanie Engels

Melanie Engels, PharmD, MBA, is an experienced pharmacy professional currently serving as the Director of Pharmacy Operations & Engagement at Froedtert Health since November 2019. In this role, Melanie oversees the Engagement Center for retail, specialty, and infusion pharmacy, focusing on medication access, revenue cycle management, and customer experience. Melanie has also directed the PGY1 Community-Based Pharmacy Residency Program and managed outpatient pharmacy services, overseeing multiple retail locations. Prior experiences include serving as a Pharmacy Manager at both Munson Healthcare and Michigan Medicine, along with academic roles as adjunct faculty at Ferris State University. Melanie holds a PharmD from the University of Michigan, an MBA from New England College, and a BA in Biology and Biochemistry from The University of Olivet.
