Jalena Lee

Jalena is a rising sophomore at Carleton University pursuing an undergraduate degree in computer science. As an advocate for increased diversity and inclusion in the tech space, she has been involved in various initiatives to create opportunities and access for marginalized groups.

She’s currently at Shopify building the infrastructure to support merchants as a Software Engineering Intern. By interacting with entrepreneurs everyday and having been a founder herself, Jalena is no stranger to the challenges that founders face. Through Front Row Ventures, she hopes to energize and empower founders to create the change that they’re passionate about!

In Jalena’s free time, she enjoys impulsive trips, exploring hidden food gems, and dragon boating.
