Christina Rueger

Christina Rueger currently serves as the Head of Legal Services Sector within the Legal and Procurement Unit at Frontex, a position held since September 2021. Prior to this role, Christina Rueger was a Senior Legal Advisor at CGIAR from September 2020 to August 2021 and served as Deputy General Counsel at IDLO - International Development Law Organization from August 2019 to August 2020. Christina Rueger also worked as a Legal Adviser to the Head of Mission for EUCAP Somalia between August 2016 and July 2019. Christina Rueger's extensive experience includes a tenure as a Legal Officer with the United Nations from November 2003 to November 2015, where roles included serving in the Office of the Special Adviser to the Secretary-General to Cyprus, the United Nations Disengagement Observer Force (UNDOF), and the Office of The Legal Adviser for the United Nations Interim Administration Mission in Kosovo.
