Thomas Charpied

Vice President, Electro Mechanical Systems at Frontgrade Technologies

Thomas Charpied has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Thomas started their career at Stony Brook Motorsports as a Suspension Team Leader and later became a Research Assistant in the Microfluidics Laboratory. In 2009, they joined CIRCOR Aerospace as a Mechanical Engineer, where they designed products for pneumatic systems and implemented Lean Manufacturing techniques. Thomas then moved to GE Aviation as a Program Manager, managing a portfolio of military and commercial customers for aerospace power conversion products. At CIRCOR Aerospace & Defense, they served as an Operations Manager, Interim General Manager, and Director of Operations, overseeing manufacturing operations and leading improvement projects. Thomas further advanced their career at Harris Corporation and L3Harris Technologies as a Program Manager and Sr. (Enterprise) Program Manager, respectively. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President, Electro Mechanical Systems at Frontgrade Technologies.

Thomas Charpied attended Stony Brook University from 2005 to 2009, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. Following that, they pursued further education at Stony Brook University from 2009 to 2010, obtaining a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering. Later, from 2012 to 2015, Thomas attended NYU Stern School of Business, where they completed their MBA with a focus on Finance and Strategy.
