Chetan Sukuru

Chetan Sukuru is a seasoned professional in research informatics with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors. Currently serving as Senior Director and Head of Research Informatics at Frontier Medicines, Chetan leads a cross-functional informatics team focused on AI/ML-driven solutions for data-intensive drug discovery research. Previously, Chetan held similar senior leadership roles at Tango Therapeutics and Amgen, where responsibilities included developing innovative informatics applications and strategies that enhance drug discovery processes. Chetan's career also includes significant contributions at Pfizer, Novartis, and various academic institutes, with expertise in cheminformatics and computational drug design. Chetan obtained a B.Tech (Hons) in Biotechnology & Biochemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur and a Ph.D. in Computer-Aided Drug Design from Michigan State University.
