Evan McMahon

Scientist I at Frontier Medicines

Evan McMahon's work experience began in 2008 as a Camp Leader at Young Chefs Academy and continued with various roles such as Valet Attendant at Corinthian International Parking Services in 2012 and Tutor at The Academic Advantage in 2013. In 2014, Evan worked as an Undergraduate Researcher at UC Santa Cruz, focusing on transcriptomic analysis and wet lab projects. Starting in 2015, Evan held positions at DNA2.0, later ATUM, as an Oligo Synthesis Production Assistant. At ATUM, Evan progressed to become a Gene Synthesis Production Associate, where they performed a range of lab techniques and operated liquid handling robots. In 2018, Evan became the Mammalian Cell Culture Lab Manager at ATUM and then transitioned to the Bacterial and Yeast Expression and Purification Group Leader role. In 2020, Evan joined Codexis, Inc. as a Research Associate I before moving to Frontier Medicines. At Frontier Medicines, Evan worked as a Research Associate II, then as a Senior Research Associate, and currently holds the position of Scientist I.

Evan McMahon completed their high school education at Saint Francis High School from 2007 to 2011. Evan then pursued further studies at the University of California, Santa Cruz, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Bioengineering with a minor in Bioinformatics. Evan's time at the University spanned from 2011 to 2015.
