Hiroko Tanaka

Hiroko Tanaka has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple companies in the pharmaceutical and research industry. Hiroko currently holds the position of Principal Scientist at Frontier Medicines since May 2020. Previously, they served as a Senior Scientist at Nurix, Inc. from January 2016 to May 2020. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Scientist at ChemoCentryx from October 2007 to December 2015. Earlier in their career, they held the position of Scientist at Sunesis Pharmaceuticals from January 2003 to August 2007. Hiroko started their professional journey as a Research Scientist at Teijin Ltd. from April 1992 to June 1997.

Hiroko Tanaka has a strong educational background in the field of Chemistry. Between 1986 and 1992, they attended The University of Tokyo, where they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Chemistry. Subsequently, from 1997 to 2003, Hiroko Tanaka studied at Stanford University and earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Chemistry.
