John Yao

John Yao has extensive work experience in the field of informatics and scientific research. John currently holds the position of Manager, Research Informatics at Frontier Medicines since July 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Fulcrum Therapeutics as an Informatics Engineer II from July 2021 to June 2022, and as an Informatics Engineer from April 2019 to July 2021. Before joining Fulcrum Therapeutics, John worked at Pfizer as an Associate Scientific Data from December 2017 to April 2019. Prior to that, they worked at Nano Terra, Inc as a Scientist I from July 2015 to November 2017. Before their industry experience, John worked as a Research Assistant at Universitat Rovira i Virgili (URV) in 2015, where they focused on evaluating membrane characteristics. John also worked as a Research Associate I at Cambridge Polymer Group from July 2014 to January 2015, and as a Chemical Engineer I at E Ink Corporation from July 2013 to January 2014. John Yao attended Braintree High School from 2006 to 2010, where they received their high school diploma. After completing high school, they attended Wentworth Institute of Technology from 2010 to 2011, where they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering. Subsequently, John transferred to Northeastern University from 2011 to 2016, where they earned their Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.
