Rohan Varma

Rohan Varma has a diverse work experience starting from 2011 when they worked as a Student Researcher at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. In 2012, they worked as a Software Engineering Intern at Samsung Electronics America and as an Undergraduate Researcher at Berkeley Wireless Research Center (BWRC). In 2013, they worked as an Engineering Intern at Apple and as an Undergraduate Researcher at Berkeley Audio-visual Signal processing and Communication Systems (BASiCS). In 2018, they worked as a Research Intern at Microsoft. From 2014 to 2020, Rohan pursued their Ph.D. at Carnegie Mellon University as a Graduate Student Researcher, advised by Prof. Rohan then joined Amazon in 2020 as an AI Scientist before joining Frontier Medicines in 2021 for the same role.

Rohan Varma's education history begins in 2010 when they enrolled at the University of California, Berkeley. Rohan pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences, as well as two Bachelor of Arts degrees in Statistics and Economics, respectively. Rohan completed these programs in 2014.

In the same year, Rohan Varma began attending Carnegie Mellon University, where they earned a Master of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering in 2016. Following this, they continued their studies at Carnegie Mellon and pursued a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, which they completed in 2019.

To further enhance their qualifications, Rohan Varma obtained a PhD certification from Carnegie Mellon University in January 2020.
