Yan Wang

Yan Wang has extensive work experience in the field of translational medicine and research. They are currently serving as the Head of Translational Medicine at Frontier Medicines since September 2022. Previously, they held the position of Sr. Director of Translational Medicine at Alkermes from January 2019 to July 2022. Prior to that, Yan worked as the Senior Director of Translational Research at X4 Pharmaceuticals from March 2016 to January 2019 and as the Director of Biology at Verastem from February 2015 to March 2016. Yan also held the role of Director, Scientific R&D at TESARO from 2013 to 2015. Before entering the industry, Yan gained experience as the Collaboration Lead, Oncology; Discovery and Pre-Clinical Sciences at Merck from 2009 to 2012. Prior to that, they worked as a Fellow at Schering-Plough Research Institute from 1999 to 2009. Yan's career began as a Senior Research Scientist at IDUN Pharmaceuticals from 1996 to 1999, following a Postdoctoral Fellowship at Columbia University from 1992 to 1995. Yan holds a student experience at Princeton University from 1986 to 1992.

Yan Wang has a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from Princeton University. Prior to that, they obtained a B.S. in Biochemistry from Peking University.
