Dhawal Shah

Dhawal Shah has had an extensive career in the franchising industry. In 2003, they began as a Freelance Writer, writing articles for Advance'dge MBA, Times of India and other publications. In 2004, they became the Deputy Executive Officer at the Franchising Association of India, where their primary responsibility was to strengthen Franchising Focus. In 2008, they were the Visiting Faculty at Welingkar Institute of Management, teaching a 20 hour module on franchising. In 2009, they founded Maverick Franchise Ventures Pvt. Ltd., building Way2Franchise into a premier web franchise directory for the Indian market. In 2013, they became the Regional Director at Quiznos Global LLC, where they were a core member of the digital team and helped develop Toasty.TV. In 2016, they were the Franchise Development Director at MENAFA - MIDDLE EAST AND NORTH AFRICA FRANCHISE ASSOCIATION, where they built and managed a team of four and was a speaker at Dine Exhibition and Conference 2017. In 2017, they became the Franchise Manager at CedarBridge Capital Partners, leading and executing franchise growth strategies. In 2019, they became the Chief Business Officer at Frontier and Co-Founder and Venture Partner (Non Executive) at Woodstock Fund. Finally, in 2021, they became the Founding Partner and Sr. Analyst at Bison Fund.

Dhawal Shah has a Bachelor of Management Studies in Finance and Digital Marketing from Narsee Monjee. Dhawal also has a Certified Franchise Executive from the Institute of Certified Franchise Executives, which they obtained in February 2008.
