Dr. Diana Francis currently serves as the Lead of the Climate Data & Modelling Cluster at the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment in the UAE, coordinating cluster activities within the Climate Change Research Network. In addition, Dr. Francis holds positions as an Editorial Board Member for the journal Explora: Environment and Resource, President of the Khalifa University Ambassador program focusing on environmental sustainability, and Head of the ENGEOS Lab at Khalifa University, specializing in climate science and atmospheric studies. Dr. Francis is actively involved with several international organizations, including the British Antarctic Survey and the International Union of Geodesy and Geophysics. With extensive experience in atmospheric science, Dr. Francis has worked in various capacities, including as a Research Scientist at New York University Abu Dhabi and as a Scientist for the European Commission. Dr. Francis holds multiple advanced degrees, including a PhD in Atmospheric Sciences from Pierre and Marie Curie University and several master's degrees in various fields related to environmental and atmospheric sciences.
