Holly Tyler

Holly Tyler has over 10 years of experience in the publishing industry. Holly began as an editorial intern at Palgrave Macmillan, where they gained insights into the editor-editorial assistant relationship and the functions of the publishing industry. Holly then worked as a marketing assistant before becoming an author care coordinator, where they focused on customer service and managing author-related projects. Tyler then joined Palgrave Macmillan as an editorial assistant in the history, scholarly, and reference division, where they liaised with authors and editors and researched various topics for potential publications. Holly was later promoted to commissioning editor and then senior commissioning editor, overseeing publishing growth in the fields of human geography, health, and science and technology studies. Holly joined Rowman & Littlefield International as a senior commissioning editor, focusing on acquiring books in the fields of human geography, anthropology, and cultural studies. Tyler then worked as an editorial project manager at BSI before joining Frontiers as the head of peer review operations.

Holly Tyler obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in History from Queen Mary University of London from 2007 to 2010. Prior to that, they attended Burnham Grammar School, but no specific degree or field of study is provided for this education.
