Olga Karicheva

Olga Karicheva, PhD, is an accomplished journal manager and journal development specialist with extensive experience in the academic publishing sector, currently at Frontiers since July 2018. Prior roles include a communications team member at the International Dual Career Network and a post-doctoral researcher focused on cancer biology and DNA repair at Ecole Supérieure de Biotechnologie de Strasbourg. Throughout a distinguished academic career, Olga has conducted significant research in mitochondrial biology while earning a PhD from the University of Strasbourg and a Master's degree from Lomonosov Moscow State University. Additionally, Olga has experience in medical translation and has collaborated with various academic partners, presenting research findings at numerous conferences.
