Liza Tong

Programme Manager at Frontline AIDS

Liza Tong is a Programme Manager at the International HIV/AIDS Alliance, where responsibilities include evaluation research and learning with a focus on the value for money agenda, cost effectiveness, evaluations, and knowledge sharing systems since June 2004. Prior to this role, Liza served as a Design Monitoring and Evaluation Adviser at CARE International UK from June 2001 to June 2004, providing support to country offices in monitoring and evaluation as well as program design and planning. Liza's earlier experience includes working as a Technical Co-operation Officer at the Department for International Development (DFID) from July 1997 to February 2001, where management of a DFID-funded water and sanitation program in South Africa was a key responsibility. Liza holds two degrees from the University of Leeds, a Meng in Tropical Public Health and a BEng in Civil Engineering, both obtained between 1989 and 1992.
